Description
Other than the cube variant that we heard about the Jackal carrying, traditional data-pad pads would likely exist. This variant was thought up with a friend that doesn't like to be named while on the subject of pull apart computers. Though he'll probably comment READ here somewhere A data-pad that would both function as a traditional pad and slide apart to become a keyboard interface and a projected screen.

When connected, the pad acts as normal, small screen and scroll able. However once its pulled apart, it converts into a keyboard/screen projection. The two halves are held at a correct distance by an energy field, much like the kind that acts as the base of a gravity conveyor. Two thumb sized holo-projectors turn the data-pad into a computer terminal.
