"we promised we would always be together...and so we ran away...but everyone...died...and so i waited in a dark dark place..."this is sae from Project Zero II: Akai Chou, after she was hung and thrown into the *. She preformed the crimson ritual alone, because her sister left her behind, and was not there to strangle her and take her life. the ritual failed and their village was eclipsed in darkness. she died alone, but she still waits with the rest of the crimson butterflys for her sister to return and finish the ritual.

Yae didn't mean to leave her sister, she didn't realize Sae had fallen until it was to late, and then when she tried to get back to the village she got lost in the forest. Β If the villagers had waited then she would have been there for the ritual, Yae got to the Tori gate just as the vilage was consumed by the darkness and lost all her memories. Β Yae was found shortly afterwards at the village gate sobbing and saying "I'm sorry" over and over, the village missing and unable to recall anything except her name, she didn't even know why she felt sad. Β Interestingly she died the same way her sister did, she hung her self from a tree at the Himuro mansion after going mad due to overexposure to a camera obscura, and thinking she'd got her daughter killed.

How were you able to create such a serene picture of Sae when she's totally evil?

I always thought of Sae more as sad than evil...I think she is only evil because she was murdered alone, without her sister, and she is bitter and and driven mad by that.

I know, I'm very surpised to meet another fan! >_< That's cool, I was playing Fatal Frame with my sisters and they liked it. But my cousin didn't like it because he didn't get scared. He likes Resident Evil better and I was like shut up! *laughs* You're welcome!
