someone ask so here a tutorial of how i shade, sorta, there's other stuff i do, but im not going to share that, you'll have to learn tricks and tips for yourself
hopes this helps! tried to make it simple and easier to understand than wordy and complected

i use the mix or smudge tool for shading and i use a lighter color for highlights. this is the normal way i do it, idk how to explain how i do it in realism. and im thinking of a way to show my traditional way of shading (witch i use many different tools for) if there's any other tutorials you would like me to do, just ask!
