Doofish-is-afish wanted to know how I draw fire

I just have two ways to draw fire
the first one is more solid and was how i used tod raw fire, honestly i like this style better
You need to have more orange than yellow and red, and try to have red on all edges before smudging and it will look better

the middle and bottom one is how I draw fire now, just like, lazy loose lines and then smudging them together
The bottom one is to show that this style looks better with fire that are not normal fire coloured (and this Kieran's colour shh), it works with any magic looking fire, purple, green, red, blue, it all works with this style better, especially if you duplicate the smudged layer and put it on screen/luminosity/whatever glow mode your program has

the first two can also be duplicated and put on glow mode, but it's not as good as magic fire
but, small amount of glow works too

I just abuses smudge a lot
