thank you so much ^^ after years of working with bright fantasy colour schemes I try my best to not make the realistic settings too grey or boring

No problem!

I find the limited/cohesive colour palettes much more appealing. 
I really like pirate fantasy and its esthetics. I consume a lot of comics about pirates and I noticed I prefer the ones where the scenes have reduced colour schemes. 
They're more harmonic for me.

thank you so much for telling me this, I am planning a story and want to draw a comic eventually with my characters so knowing what sort of colours people prefer really helps me out ^^
