I thought this would be funny, and look cute, but the expression on the small Links' faces isn't so cute after all.Still it makes me smile and giggle.

I call Dark Toon Link Demented Toon Link... because in the game he has this huge grin on his face when you choose him and he just looks Demented. hence the lame name

Twilight Princess's Link is Young Link from Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask who grew up into a teenager 100 years later in the Child Timeline, while Toon Link is Adult Link who was the Hero of Time reborn in the Adult Timeline a hundred years after Adult Link defeated Ganon in Ocarina of Time.
That's why I said Toon Link is older than Twilight Princess's Link.

Wait a second. Link from OoT is the same as the MM one, but not the same of TP. Plus, WW Link (I refuse to refer to him as Toon Link, so don't mind me) was born much more than a century after OoT, if the prologue is to be believed.

Link from Oot was still the same and known as the Hero of Time in MM...True. But no more in TP, that's true. And WW Link was born a hundred years later after Adult Link defeated Ganon, that's the same as saying "much more than a century after Oot".
Toon Link is actually the same Hero of Time (Adult Link) who saved Hyrule in the Adult Timeline from Oot. Yes, we feel that he's a different Link throughout the Zelda series, due the fact that he's the Hero of Time "reborn" (also stated by Ganondorf).
I believe Adult Link was "taken" from Link in the Adult Timeline after Majora's Mask, because Young Link was no more known as the Hero of Time in the beginning of Twilight Princess.
