It's also amazing how much we disregard things, never really appreciating them until they're gone. I looked at that building every single day and now it's just flat. It smelled really bad for awhile and I'm really tired of hearing all of the destruction noise.
Nice shot.

that's also very true. I mean I think we just don't realize how much something means to us until it's... well gone. I mean in Germany I wanted to go home so badly not reliaizing (sp) that perhaps that was one of the few times I would be away... I might not be able to go back to another country for awhile. When something like a building is present we just don't think about it, the thing is just there. Sometimes I guess we forget that things change...

Nice touch with the whole fading of the edges on the border of this one. It adds to the effect of the "ghost" of what once was and is no more. Me likes.

Oh, I totally know what you mean. I was just complaining to JP about it the other week; we have 4 pizza places, 2 Chinese places, and COUNTLESS fast food joints, yet all we have for recreation are the parks. There's no fountain, no museum, or any place nice to go. It's like, "What do you want to do?" "Well, I dunno, we could go to the movies...or Wal-Mart." Psh. I hate it.

well we do have a museum, the peterstown house. but it's rarely open, only on saturday and sunday from 1-4. we do have too much fast food. in Germany kids didn't get as bored. they just went outside and I dunno... did stuff. it's crazy. you have to drive to South county just to find something decent to do and that usually invovles forking out tons of cash. I just wish we could do stuff around here without money involved. maybe we should have more giant get togethers I dunno. oh wait... I'm going to school in five days. ah well... but yeah tearing down stuff without reason... so bloody retarded.
