drawn and colored in photoshop with wacom tablet.I don't watch or draw anime stuff very much, but I love Excel Saga. It's my favorite and after recently watching the box-set i bought i had to draw a picture of Excel.
This is actual a nice happy picture, somthing you wouldn't see often in the show. I added Menchi to the pic because...you got to have her.
This too me a couple day on and off working on this picture. I tried doing a new style i haven't done. It reminds me of markers and I liked how it turned out.
I hope you some of you guys know of or like Excel Saga!
edit: if you don't know, menchi is actually a dog, even though she looks like a cat.

I'll tell you the truth, I've got the first five books, and they're nowhere near as funny as the series. They are good though, but there are a lot of books in the series. I do believe there are twelve so far...

oh well i've never read the books, but I own all the tv episodes and they can be pretty random, so I'm sure the book is too. I might help a bit to start from the 1st one though haha.

Especially because of the cat^^ As a "traditional art" fan it's too bad for me that it's not done by hands, pencils & paint, but it's pretty nice to the eye anyway. When will I see more traditional arts af yours ? I love them

well its just since ive always on the computer its easier for me to just start doing something on here. i have ideas for paintings though. so i think im going to be doing a little of both. i tried to make this picture look hand drawn instead of done on a computer.
