another old old project. probably more ancient than the rest. i think this whole thing was spawned from my "magical knight rayearth" kick. back then i was obsessed with CLAMP and rayearth (aside from card captor sakura) was my favourite. this went through a full failed attempts. in the beginning, a friend of mine was the writer and i was the artist; back then it was called "warriors of celeste". the problem was that it was too much like rayearth and quite obvious from where it was inspired. i moved schools, forgot about it until i was looking through old artwork. it brought back memories and i decided to redo the whole thing. but this time i tried to distance the story and characters away from rayearth. the result was this.

there is parallel world that exists alongside earth called celeste. the problem is that world is dying from an unknown disease. but the original warriors that defeated the first evil are dead (the chibi characters at the top). they are reincarnated into tiny creatures who call upon the main characters into celeste via a portal through a book. they then paired up and the kids were able to use the creatures as mediums to channel their original powers.

girl with glasses - asuka: shadows & the darkness
red girl - rae: fire & pepper
