I'm very strict when it comes to proportions... so i was just testing this out last night, didnt know if she should be exactly 8 1/2 heads tall or a little taller. Needed to establish her pose before starting on the actual drawing...Also i want to see how different facial angles and leg positioning will change the feel of the drawing... whether it makes her look too stern or if it makes her look serene....
I have to be super sure that how i position her will effectively show the feeling i want to protray...
YES.... super finicky i know... but thats just me (^_^)

You really studied how to do this in art school? I would have been finicky too if I had learned the same lesson
