I'm almost surprised no one has thought of this before.Or I haven't dug in the net enough much.
The design of Pearl is a merging of all her versions through years, since when she was wearing undies covering her whole legs. We have seen her ones a lot of times, unlike Gadget's ones.

Mighty Mouse! The logo comes from the 80 TV series, one of the many ones. His first cartoons were in black and white, but the frequently appearing mouse belly dancer, whose sexy dance was recicled over and over, was yet a piece of cake for the yiffy fandom. Sometimes there were more than one of her. But she/they wasn't costantly tied up and very often (but not enought often

I don't recall Mighty Mouse being black and white. He came out in the 1940s in the theaters. Ah, the lovely belly dancer. She is fine. I love her more than Pearl. 
Pearl's ears are brown not black. ^^ But anyway, that's a cute idea of Pearl and Gadget. XDDDD

What's with these people, forgetting mighty mouse, one of the original animal super heroes, along with atom ant and underdog (though bcuz of the movie more ppl know about U.D. but that's not the point) (also not the point but Polly Purebred was gagged a lot as well if I remember correctly. you should do a tribute to her
