Originally I was going to draw a Creeper chasing after a group of people and about to explode, but when I sketched out the little guy, I couldn't help but think about how such a creature would've come into being in evolutionary terms and I felt kind of sorry for it. The way I drew the boulders was actually, at first, an accident but since Minecraft is a game about digging individual blocks, I really liked it, so I gave them life.

This was so much fun to draw. I only erased, like, 3 lines and that was in the pre-sketch stage. I think the most fun part was giving this a real sense of depth. When I was getting closer to finishing it, my mind was playing tricks on me and at times I felt like I could reach my hand into it. ^_^ I'm quite proud.
