Wanted to try something a bit different. Inspired by some styles around 20th century American illustration. I found some old school traditional art techniques and wanted to try applying those to a digital workspace to see if I could capture that kind of rustic feel.

I really enjoyed rendering this. My favorite bits to do were the eyes and rimlight. I don't usually draw with this much detail anymore so this felt like putting on an old glove (that somehow fits better now).
