Old commission by Charizard is using the Magic Rod to cook a meal using a Cucco he captured called Bouffalant Fried Cucco. After cooking the Cucco, he then serves it to both Ryugen and Illfang. They chow down on the cooked Cucco and after they finish eating, Charizard gives then the recipe for Bouffalant Fried Cucco. And yes, the Magic Rod Charizard used is from Link's Awakening, the very one that could off Cuccos. As a personal shout out to all Zelda fans, I very much miss that and would like to make meals out of Cuccos after frying them with the rod. It seems that the only thing that can off Cuccos for easy cooking is a certain combination of magic and fire, and I get famished every time I think about making a meal out of a Cucco.
