Are you seriously that scrapped for ideas that you'll go to a licensed game of a 'kids movie', not even the movie itself (because you do that all the time) but the GAME BASED ON IT, for material to work with?"

Comment I left on the preview (which I always delete after the real one goes up) that I'd like to preserve:
Thank you! It's my favorite PS1 game. Sure you could probably make an objective case (or as objective a case as you can for such a subjective topic) for something like Spyro or Crash being better, but those were original IPs, they kinda had to be good or they wouldn't have sold. Toy Story 2 on the other hand was the highest grossing opening of any animated film ever made when it came out, that movie was more cinematically popular than popcorn, they could have just modded Buzz into Bubsy 3D and called it a day and the game still would have sold like hot cakes, so the fact that they didn't do that and actually put effort into making such a solid game as they did proves that an effort was out of genuine desire, rather than obligation, which always meant so much more to me. That's why I'm probably the only one in the world who actually laments the fact that movie tie-in games don't really get made much anymore, because yeah most of them sucked, but that's what made the good ones so memorable and special to the point where I could probably list off more good movie games off the top of my head than bad ones
