In the following days, the trio had kept the state of their friend to themselves, sharing as little as they could only with the guy, who had, according to the citadel maid, spent the night in front of the door. He would come every two days to check up on her and than he'd be ushered out by Hyperion. Nicholas had informed the head of the council and few members that Terra will be absent for a brief time period. Not that anyone showed any real concern or care, which he, while sort of expected, found sad. Still, it made him heave a sigh of relief. He thought someone would be at least a bit curious as to what went on in the forest. Their blatant disinterest in anything surrounding her, gave her time to recover without stress and allowed him to simply move on with life and duties without giving much thought to it.

However, he had been deceived for not all was as it seemed.
