Description Entry for October contest at daz forum.

It is said that on all hallows eve rifts between our world and the other opens and all sorts of creatures pour through to have fun or do some damage until they have a chance to repeat it all again next year.
But sometimes they don't go without a victim or two. The eyes of the victim don't see the truth. Only what they want them to see so unless he or she snaps out of it. In the case they don't

If it weren't for the community I'd be stuck on trial and error pretty much as I'm stuck on the field of postwork for now. That means a lot especially coming from you. Thank you Szark.

I speak from the heart.

Postwork: I had been using Photoshop Elements for a number of years before finding Bryce and then Daz Studio so attempting postwork for me wasn't so scary. Like many things I learn I normally self teach by trial and error or go searching the net for tutorials. It does take time to learn all the different functions but with Photoshop Elements I am not overwhelmed with too many functions which made it easier to learn.

But I have to admit my postwork is nothing compared to what others can do.

I have to agree with you on that one. Some postworked images done with daz and poser are breathtaking. They really enhance the theme or the story.

I have just posted my last image in the PC Member's Contest over on Daz3D forums [link] If you area PC member then you will see it. If not I will be adding it to my gallery at the end of the month.

This is the most postworked image I have done to date. I rendered everything in layers and made Masks using Surface Mask Creator (Daz Store)(a Mask is black and white image where black hides and white shows and applied using GIMP). This eliminates the outline we get when saving the render as Tiff or PNG. Doing masks makes adjusting each element so much easier.

I saw it. Very, very nice work. I didn't know about this contest. So many good images. It'll be hard to pick the winner.

Thx but no it is not hard to pick a winner at all. LOL

Seriously though I would hate to have to judge these contests. It is bad enough judging the Begineers contests.
