Now updated using the new app due to the OCT restarting! Still using the same artwork as before though, part because I'm lazy to come up with a new pose and part because I actually don't mind the current artwork =v=

Personality:
Brave and intrepid, Cord loves nothing more than exploring and adventure. Can sometimes act a little reckless, is pretty stubborn and somewhat of a hothead, the type who'd rather act first than think things through. He's also somewhat of a greedy person, ESPECIALLY when it comes to treasure or food by refusing to share as much and/or keeping it to himself, as well as a tendency to act in a rash manner around others, but only to people who he just met. In other words, deep down his intentions are mostly good, but they won't know it unless they really get to know him.

History:
Cord grew up in a small town where he lived with his parents for his whole life. His mother was a stay-at-home housewife and looked after Cord most of the time, whereas his father was an adventurer/explorer, and would go out on expeditions for weeks at a time, thus he rarely got to see him. Despite that Cord was still closer to his dad, and he would tell stories about his adventures when he came back. Cord started becoming interested in adventuring, and would read all sorts of books about it, all the experiences that were recorded in various journals, and would even go out on his way to explore not-so well known parts of his own town and near the outskirts, much to his mothers disapproval.

When he was about 10 years old, his father left on another journey that he swore wouldn't take long... except he never came back. Weeks went by, soon months. Nobody knows where he went. His mother, fearing the worst assumed that something went wrong during his journey and he died. This naturally sent her into a haze of emotions, confusion, sadness, anger etc. As the years went by her situation only got worse. Cord tried his best to cheer her up, but it was little use. She was inconsolable. In the meantime Cord became more and more fascinated with his hobby, determined to be just like his father one day when he got older.

Very soon Cord's mother was too caught up in her own feelings to unhealthy levels. As years started to pass by she started to become paranoid and kept on believing that her husband was still alive and well out there. Arguments ensued between the both of them, almost every night. Their relationship became so poisonous and toxic until Cord decided to pack all of his adventuring gear that he had prepared long in advance, leave his home and mother behind, on the night of his 16th birthday. Wandering into a nearby shelter he overheard rumors that his father was last sighted in the lands far, far away from his town. Feeling excited upon hearing that news, and thus begins his journey as an explorer fulfilling his dreams of danger and adventure, in the hopes of finding his father and perhaps treasure - or maybe even something else...

Extra:
- Distancing himself from his past, he took up the name "Cord" based on the rope that he carried with him. Since then he refused to be called by his original name, and refused to be asked about it. Because of this hardly anyone knows what his true name is.
- His electronic navigator has a super long antennae that can be pulled outwards for longer range and detection.
- He's an expert rope user - the rope he carries along with him can be used either to swing from place to place, as a lasso or if a weapon or tool is attached to the end of it, potentially as a long-range weapon.

Can be somewhat sarcastic and blunt, not afraid to speak his mind whenever he feels the need to. (Mostly) Unwilling to participate in some of Cord's reckless ideas, despite that he's still pretty reliable and will do whatever he can to help his tamer.
Extra (optional): - Despite disagreeing with them, Candlemon (somehow) usually gets dragged along by Cord's crazy ideas anyway.
