My favorite part about painting fancharacters characters who aren't fantasy races is that I don't have to mark them as fanart most of the time. THEY DOUBLE AS ORIGINAL. SORT OF.

Anyway, I wanted to get some more practice with painting figures and working in Photoshop, so I figured I'd finish a few busts I sketched up the other day. TURNS OUT THESE TAKE FOREVER. This one took me 5 hours or so. I like how they come out, of course--the effort seems like it's paying off--but I'm so used to quick pictures that it startles me when I realize how long I've spent on one picture.

As for the subject, Zahira! She got another update, design-wise. Will likes her to get new tattoos now and again, and I was happy to redesign her outfit a little. Her last one...was a little iffy. Updated sheet may be coming soon, but for now, just a nice painting. Also she and Nick are married now??? Hooray!
