More Cursed stuff! But this time, it's all stylized.After my thesis project wrapped up, ~WilliamSchatz and I decided to take a stab at making an actual game of Cursed, so I wanted to do some nice character art for it. I tried out a new style for simplicity--cutscenes will probably be hand-drawn, so I didn't want to murder myself over details. I like how it's turning out so far.
Anyway, here's Calen! Managing to actually look sort of badass instead of frumpy and incompetent.

lol Well, let's see. Calen's the main character in the sense that most of the story is about him. He's a street urchin type of kid, about 19, who's essentially put himself in the gutter since his parents passed away (he's also kind of stubborn and an idiot a lot of the time). He gets himself into trouble by trying to fix his position in life by stealing a sacred stone associated with a goddess and he ends up cursed to either be stuck in holy places or blind outside of them until he learns to not be such a douchebag. Said stone gets stolen by a cult in the story, naturally, so he has to go help save it, too. Long story short, he's an asshole who has to learn to not be an asshole while also kinda saving the world with his friends.
