BAM. Another mission for Galixnil. This time, I had to show her Heartless. Since I'm of the camp that thinks sentient/really humanoid Heartless are RARE, I figured she'd have a little hoard-y type Heartless that she left behind when she became a Nobody.SO THIS BIRD THING. It's a bird 'cuz...birds can fly away. Which is totes what Gali wanted to do after she was forced to get married. Kinda corny, but hey. It means I had a theme for her Heartless. Also it has her floppy hair thing. HAHA.

This stems from info I read from the KH wiki:
Pureblood Heartless are natural Heartless, born from the darkness in people's hearts. They are ink-black in color, with yellow beady eyes. They are more common in places that are close to or saturated in darkness. Upon their destruction, they simply disappear in puffs of darkness, without a heart leaving it's body.
Emblem Heartless, on the other hand, were originally created from machines that reproduce the process of a heart being consumed by darkness. Afterward, stolen hearts can become Emblems. They have more varied shapes, colors, and are branded with Xehanort's symbol to differentiate them from the Pureblood ones. They are more common on the worlds within the Realm of Light, and usually mimic the shape of creatures or objects within that world.
So is this Heartless an Emblem because Galixnil's heart was stolen by an Emblem, or because you simply drew it that way? Just curious is all ^^

lol Oh gosh. I wasn't really trying to be canon-accurate here, but I suppose that works. Sure! I never even thought about what kind of Heartless took hers, but it COULD be an Emblem Heartless. XD I sorta forgot only machine-created Heartless had the symbol on them, but I guess this works as an excuse for my forgetfulness.

If the Heartless has the Sigil on it, somewhere, anywhere, the person's heart was stolen by an Emblem Heartless.
That's the rule in KH canon.
Seeing as you put the Sigil on this Heartless, there is no "could". It has to have been an Emblem that took her heart. Purebloods create Purebloods. Emblems create Emblems.
We should encourage *Org-infinity to specify the difference between Emblems and Purebloods, as it really does have significance for this mini-mission. If your Nobody's Heartless is an Emblem/Pureblood, that says a lot about what world they lived in before, how close they were to the light, etc. Think of it this way: This isn't just "derp Imma draw a Heartless". This is a grim reminder of what turned your character into the empty shell it is now. The least you can do is be accurate, ya know?
This is just me being informative, etc. here BTW. This is still a wonderful piece of work; I absolutely love it. All that has to be done is for you to say "Yes, her heart was taken by an Emblem Heartless" and BAM! Problem solved. If not, you're gonna need to remove that Sigil, because then it's a Pureblood, and Purebloods don't have Sigils.

lol No offense, I think your research is hella awesome and I'm glad somebody is up to date on canon info, but I think that kind of specificity might be just a liiiiittle extreme for a casual club on DA. I mean, for one, I think most people who do this MiniMission do a humanoid heartless because that's more fun and cool (if more inaccurate), so I don't think it's really meant to be super canon-accurate--just fun. I agree that it's good to be right-on with the canon, but...it's just a club and it's not super srs. I think there can be some leeway. XD

Well, I guess we can automatically assume that the person's heart was taken by one of the two types based on the presence of a Sigil or not.
Still, if I get accepted into OI, I'm gonna be all canon on this mission baby!
