lol WELP. They aren't super deep, since I'm a bit lame, but let's see. Subbed for space-saving.

She's wearing a wig and half-dressed in red because it's a deconstruction of her fake persona, Venan Olethys (House Brother in House Hlaalu). Showing off both her normal self and her fake self is supposed to sort of tie into the two-sided thing.

On the left side, there are a bunch of objects that are...well, eminently stealable. It's a little shallow, since it implies that the only reason she sticks with the guild is for monetary reasons, so the Bal Molagmer gloves are there, too. For her, the guild is not only about being with the family she's been adopted into, but also about stealing from people who don't need it and giving it to people who do.

On the other side, love tokens from Crassius Curio. There's a lot of weird backstory with them, like how Lal is in love with him and he likes her a lot but frankly can't be with her because that's not his schtick and also he's a politician. Regardless, he does tend to send her little gifts, so she still can't get over him, and that tugs her away from the guild and into House Hlaalu.

The banner in the background is the symbol of House Hlaalu, which is appropriate since it also has to do with weighing things and, in this case, it's weighing decisions.

There were more things in it that related to the High Priestess card, since that's what she was going to be in the tarot thing (the flowers were going to be pomegranate blossoms, she has that veil partially covering her, originally there were going to be letters emblazoned on the banner in Daedric lettering--another High Priestess thing), but most were either axed or reappropriated.

lol I hope that interested you. I know it's not terribly deep, but I wanted to stay in the ES canon here. XD

It is ouo I love learning about other people's canon because, in a way, that's someone's take on the game itself and it's people XD I always imagine my girl didn't get along with House of Hlaalu because of a glitch that made them attack me on sight (ANY Hlaalu guard in ANY location...indoors or outdoors...there was armor piled in from of my home in Balmora LOL)

I joined Hlaalu on my warrior, not knowing what they were, so I couldn't get far. On my stealthy Imperial I got pretty far, but i haven't played that game since Skyrim came out. Now Telvanni are a bunch of crazy fuckers and I REALLY want to explore them but magic is so hard to manage on that game...

lol It's not too bad once you get used to it. Honestly, most enemies are so still when they attack you that it's easy to hit them with spells (as opposed to Skyrim, where things like Ice Wraiths flail around like their life is at stake--which I guess it is). If you get a lot of money and buy high level spells while spamming magic to up your stats, it's pretty doable. And Telvanni is pretty legit--it starts out kind of fetch-questy, but it gets really fun later on.

well yea but magicka didn't recharge on there unless you waited and every freakin little attribute determined your likeliness you would even hit. idk, i might try it.

True, that part is annoying. Fortunately, if you increase the right attributes, you can get a whole lot of magicka, making it possible to cast a billion spells before you run out. Another good thing is to steal a staff from a Telvanni early on--it is extremely powerful, so when you run out of spells, you can just beat things with it (while it casts magic). It's in the tower in Tel Branora--Felen Maryon's Ebony Staff. You can stand behind his shelf, sneak, and you'll be basically invisible.

lol I think I've read UESP and the published guide more times than I can count. Morrowind is my baby. ...Also I like to find ways to make it easier.

i only started playing it in 2011, cause it took my years to get into it, but damn is that game awesome. much better story than oblivion, even if I do love oblivion more.

lol I've always maintained that Morrowind has the best story--it just looks pretty bad and the gameplay needs a lot of work (though the Graphics Overhaul helps with the appearance of the game). Skyrim is great and Oblivion had a lot of excellent parts, but I'll always come back to Morrowind. ...It helps that I have nostalgia from 10-ish years ago when I first got the game.

i don't have a good gaming computer, so i've played all my TES on xbox. still amazing though. if i did have morrowind from pc i think i would mod it to where magicka regenerated like it did in oblivion, as well as those smexy graphics. xD
