During the timeskip, Mesoka and Ahi got married. They are currently living together in Ahi's apartment and using Mesoka's to keep extraneous clothing and costumes (OR SOMETHING, still working the details out on this). It should be noted that it is around Ahi that she both shows her true intentions and is also at her most genuinely happy.

On a related note, Mesoka has come to terms with Mochi and can even be seen enjoying her company. This has spread to a general neutrality (bordering on a slightly positive attitude) in regards to animals and children, though often her disposition will still depend on the individual creature.

In the vein of being more sensible, Mesoka has begun to hide her Kesuk pendant. She still wears it beneath the top layer of her dress, along with her Wanqu amulet (for good luck, even if she hasn't figured out what it really did for her), but it is no longer visible and advertised.

Battle-wise, Mesoka has learned from numerous fights that turned sour and has decided instead to remain stealthy and use poison bending to best opponents, if given the option. If forced to fight normally, she will use her other waterbending skills—all of which have been somewhat refined. However, she is only truly effective against those below her level, even with improved combat knowledge. If faced with someone comparable to her level, she is more likely to back out and fight another day.

At the moment, her attitude toward Sakari seems to be somewhat less adversarial. Whether this is because Mesoka has somewhat of a role in the hierarchy of Kesuk Qilaq and has a rather important job or because of a different reason is difficult to say.

Her attitude toward members of Kesuk Qilaq has also gotten much better. She now appreciates her allies to the point that she's willing to act relatively normally around them and help them out—she still seeks to learn all she can about them, but she doesn't intend to use that information to turn on them anymore.
