I'm not that unhappy the DC reboot anymore...but I'll still miss the BatfamilyP.S. I was gonna add Oracle to the bottom panel...but then it ran out of space as you can see
that's Dick Grayson resuming his mantle as Nightwing and Barbara Gordon resuming her mantle as Batgirl next to Damian by the way. That would mean there are 2 Dicks in here, yes. I kindda prefer Dick!Bats for now cause the new Nightwing design kindda reminds me of Jason D:

That's Cassandra Cain, the second Batgirl, who said 'Nice meeting you even if it was only for a FEW issues' ( My 'f's retarded like that) and that's Stephanie Brown, who said 'I'll miss you lil D', Tim Drake's ex-girlfriend who was Spoiler at first. She later took Tim Drake's place as Robin for only 2 issues and is now the current Batgirl (that is, till the Reboot happens). You should check them out on Wiki for more details.

On the plus side, I read an interview with the writer of the new Batgirl series, mentioned that if no one else used Steph and Cass, she would. That's something at least.

Yeah, the possibility of de-aging her's been a concern of mine for that reason, too. So far, though, I haven't seen anything definitive one way or the other, but they DID say there will be an explanation for how she gets her legs back in-story, meaning she'll have been Oracle in the past of the new universe. So I'm crossing my fingers at least.

But you're wrong about there being nothing we can do. We can bitch and protest and petition with all our might until buckle.
It may seem hard to believe when they pull a move like this, but these people actually listen to the readers from time to time. It's what got them to bring Cass back as Black Bat in the first place, and it's what kept them from killing Dick Grayson during Infinite Crisis [they really tried it]. We just have to keep hammering them. If the fan following is big enough, they won't be able to ignore it.
Ditching continuity doesn't win new permanent readers, good stories from capable writers do.

I know that...This reboot is definitely a short term solution to winning new readers, but I doubt they're gonna change their mind about it. And we bitching and protesting (the petitioning could work though) a lot on places like DA and tumblr already D: I think we should just see everything goes, and if things don't get any better...like if they tried to kill off Dick Grayson again form an angry mob at their doorstop and threaten to burn the place down

Yeah, the new Nightwing design threw me. I mean, he's never done red before, so I'm wondering: why now?
This is really good. I'm as that Steph and Cass are so up in the air, but I think Tim is safe. Something abouit him just kind of staying with the Titans, I think.
Babs being Batgirl again still irks me too much, though. They're going to ahve to write/plan it really, really well. I mean, she stopped being Batgirl before I was born, and I'm in college now!
I think they're trying to bring in the cartoon watchers, and since the cartoons always restart at the beginnning those people have never heard of Cass, Steph, or Damian (a lot don't even know about Jason, either). So the big question is, how well do they write it, and if the answer is "poorly" then when is the next retcon?

Steph, well, remember how they retconned her back to life? I think they're jsut going to say she really died on the operating table and leave it there (aka the original story that pissed people off).
Also, now we know why they REALLY introduced Proxy-to do the Oracle job with Babs back.
