That's the first thing that came to mind. I love this chapter so much whenever some author (*coughPearl84cough*) ticks me off with a cliff hanger or Vlad and Danny not getting along I read this and rememberer I bother reading fanfics.

Ever time I go back and think about how this story started out and then think about the ending of this story arch, I really gotta smile at how much the hybrids changed in all that time. It took them almost five months and just shy of 70 chapters to do it, but they did it! lol!
I've always wanted to interpret how Vlad felt because of everything that happened to him. I mean, sure revenge is wrong, but in some way you it had to be hard to have his entire life changed because of his best friend's mistake. So, I'm so glad I was able to get out in the open how he felt because of all that. You don't get to hear much of Vlad's thoughts in story because he's usually good at hiding them. So, this was a big chapter for him. And I am so glad you liked it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
But going back to your drawing, you sure captured the essence of this chapter. Vlad for once being selfless and letting Danny go, and that epic hug. For Danny to hug Vlad after everything the guy has done to him, well... I think Vlad said it all. "You're an extraordinary Young man, Daniel"
As always you capture emotion so well. I especially love the scene where Danny is saying thank you! Very, very touching and sweet!

Yeshhhhh. Change is good-especially if it's between two fictional ghost hybrids ;________; btw how many chapters are you planning to stop the story at? Not that I'm not grateful it's still ongoing,but really-there's already 72 chapters! And they're mostly super long D8 man you can write good Dx and I'm surprised you've not slipped out of the fandom and discontinue the story since it started out in 2006-a problem most people would encounter-but I'm glad you kept it up :'D

Heh-heh! I don't usually obsess over things. In fact, DP has been the only thing I've really been a 'fan' of. I can't even say I have any favorite singers or that kind of stuff. So, I think that's why I haven't just slipped out of DP. It's the only thing I've ever liked this much. That, and I hate giving up on things, especially after I have worked so hard on them. My stories aren't any different. I do have one more chapter story in mind, which will be CM's sequel and then I am done.
As much as I love writing DP stories, it takes a lot of time and effort. So, when I'm done, I'm done. Still, that won't be for at least one or two more years. So, you'll have me around for a bit more.
To answer your question, I believe CM has six more chapters left. So, we are very close to finishing!
