LOVE the sepia effect, and the over-all feel of the image. The only thing I could possibly suggest is instead of the figure on the left cutting off abruptly, perhaps have it fade down into the scene.

Actually I'm working on that kind of effect. It's not easy, though. = ='

It's kind of doing exactly what you have, and just continue drawing their body while growing lighter and lighter on the pencil/whatever tool you're using, and grow light fastest on the sides, and gradually slower on the middle. Just keep the background there, though, so it creates the transparent effect. Think of it as drawing energy or fire or a swift motion of some sort (with the trailing "air"), but without a defined stopping point.
Either way, keep up the good stuff!
