A commission I brought from thecooler www.deviantart.com/thecoolerIn short Angel (the lioness) has adopted a young wolf boy, by the name of Leo, who has come from an abusive family. She's helping him wash his fur, like a good mother would do.
INT- Bathroom, night time
Leo sits in the bathtub filled with water, as Angel sits beside the tub on a stool
and gently washes leo's back with a soft sponge. Leos sits still and stays silent,
while Angel hums a tune.
LEO:
“What's that?”
ANGEL:
“What's what, dear?”
LEO:
“That song you're humming”
ANGEL:
“oh, it's just something my mother
used to sing to me when She used to
give me and my sister a bath, when I was
about your age.”
LEO:
“It's really nice. Mum never sang to me ever.”
ANGEL:
“I can sing to you anytime you want, Leo. Anytime.”
Leo smiles slightly.
LEO:
“I'd like that”
Angel continues to hum and then starts to soak the sponge
in soapy suds as she then washes the top of leo's head.
ANGEL:
“Close your eyes, hun.”
Leo closes his eyes as Angel scrubs the soap into Leo's
head fur.
After Angel is finished soaping up Leo's head, she then takes a small bowl of clean water and rinses the soap out of his fur.
ANGEL:
“Are you ready to get out?”
Leo nods and gets out slowly from the bath tub.
Angel takes a warm towel and dry’s him off from top to bottom.
Leo smiles at Angel as she wipes him dry. Angel looks at Leo and
smiles back.
LEO: Could you kiss me?
ANGEL: Of course, child.
Angel plants a kiss on his forehead and then both of his checks, making Leo blush slightly.
ANGEL: Your more than welcome to ask me for a kiss any time you like. Now let’s get you to bed, eh? I’ll tuck you in and I’ll read to you for a bit.
LEO: That sounds good. Could you read to me the story from Tales of the Animal kingdom? It’s the story about the wolf knight and the feline angel?
ANGEL: “Sure thing. That story happens to be one of my favourites.”
Angel takes hold of Leo’s paw and leads him out of the bathroom.
