SO BASICALLY Bubbles is a "young prodigy" of sorts who came from a high-profile family - her mother was a movie star, and her father was a well-respected hq captain. when she was like 12ish her father went missing in a back nine at bossbot hq, which was a pretty huge blow for her family. fast forward some years later and her older brother ends up missing after a sellbot invasion, and Bubbles, being the stubborn birb she is, decides she's gonna storm into sellbot hq and find her brother because she'll be damned if she lost another family member to the cogs. Pond, Sky, Silver, Coconut, and Bright, being the sensible people they are, refuse to let her go by herself and can't talk her out of it, so they just fuckin join her like yolo man
basically after that she becomes a lot more motivated and maxes out her laff and gags, and ends up taking her father's former position in hq as the captain at 18 years old, yeAH
