Description
Mary Marvel has been turned evil before in the comics. Typically, a hero turning evil doesn't go over well with readers. In this case however, it... also didn't go over well. For varying reasons, ranging from "That miniskirt is creepy because she's a kid." to "She just starts attacking her friends and taking powers." It was a part of the infamous Countdown to Final Crisis, one of the most reviled, drawn out, moronic comic book events in an industry full of reviled, drawn out, moronic comic book events. She also got hypnotized to be Black Adam's queen in an old cartoon, which reaches whole new levels of "NOPE!" when you remember that, again, kid. So I retooled these concepts into this drawing where Adam just hypnotizes her to serve as a minion... and then she goes into full "Perky Minion That Annoys Their Boss" mode. Her declaration in the picture gets so much better- I mean worse because I'm fairly certain another member of the Marvel Family she's referring to is a kid in a wheelchair.
