A Keyblade Aqua earns after helping Dumbledore's Army deal with a bitch in a pink sweater...also a magic Nazi, but also the pink bitch. Years later, Terra, Riku, Kairi, Ventus, and even Sora after he returns can get it.

Funny thing, I told my brother how TV Tropes justified Wyldstyle, Bad Cop, and Chase McCain being able to find Thestrals in Lego Dimensions, which can only be seen by those who saw death, and according to my brother, understood it. Then I wondered who else in Project LD would be able to see Thestrals. Spoilers below.

-Bad Cop and Wyldstyle could see them in the OG game because they saw Vitruvius die. Apparently, Chase saw some enemy astronauts killed by a giant fan and even commented on it.

-I imagine characters who have a bodycount like the Doctor or Deadpool would be able to see them, obviously.

-BOTW Zelda could see them because, while he as brought back, she saw Link die. Depending on how you look at it, Link himself saw the Champions and King Rhoam pass on. If that doesn't count, the amount of Sheikah Monks he saw pass on and Kohga's death certainly does.

-Even if Kairi's alleged death in KHIII didn't count as actual death, I imagined that Sora, Donald, and Goofy could see them after seeing Ursula, Will Turner, Eugene, and numerous Xehanorts die. Then again, Sora doesn't really understand what death is.

-Soul Eater characters could see them for obvious reasons. A lot of them met Death.

-Marvel and DC characters would qualify, for many obvious reasons, especially considering stuff like Black Lanterns.

-Ruby saw Pyrhha die, Blake and Yang saw Adam die, probably leaving Weiss out unless I missed something.

-The Simpsons sometimes use random death as jokes, like the Simpsons seeing a guy crash his car in a parking lot and not reacting. What's more, a Treehouse of Horror series has Homer meet and kill Death.

-Mario saw almost everyone die at the end of Super Mario Galaxy, and both he and Luigi can watch Bowser burn to death in New Super Mario Bros.

-Kirby (along with Dedede and Taranza) saw Sectonia die, and Kirby also (alongside Susie and Meta Knight) was there when Max Haltmann died. Hell, Kirby himself had to mercy-kill the guy. (Told my brother that, and he said "Kirby has no mercy. Have you seen him in Smash?")

-Disregarding any possible deaths she could've witnessed beforehand, Uzi was there when N killed Khan's guards, and N himself has caused and witnessed death before.

-Reimu split a guy's head open for turning himself into a Yokai once. Flandre may count too assuming any poor schmuck fell below Scarlet Manor.

-Ash Ketchum witnessed death before, and even experienced it at least once.

-While it was a fake-out, Soma Cruz legitimately thought Mina was killed at one point. Not sure if that counts.

-Spongebob and Patrick were there when Dennis seemingly died on David Hasselhoff's back (That's a sentence that exists), and Spongebob himself killed Doodlebob. Plus the two died themselves in the first movie.

-Let's just assume a lot of grim reaper and ghost characters could see Thestrals.

-Out of all the Undertale characters, I imagine only Sans, Flowey, Asriel, Asgore, Toriel, and Chara could see them, even on the best route. Asriel saw Chara die, Chara themself died and their SOUL was with Asriel as he began dying. Asgore and Toriel witnessed Asriel die, and Asgore reluctantly killed humans afterwards. Flowey says Sans "Caused him his fair share of Resets", indicating that Flowey killed people and Sans got in his way.

-I don't know if Tom and Jerry could see them. Tom died at least once with Jerry hearing it, and the two thought each other died before.

-The Puppet was there when Charlie was dying, and Freddy Fazbear was there as well, considering the cake minigame. Circus Baby was there when Elizabeth died. Michael, since he's very likely the brother from FNAF 4, saw the Crying Child die, and even barring that, he died himself. William Afton's reasons for seeing them would be obvious.

-Dorothy and her friends where there when the Wicked Witch died. Heck, Dorothy has two witches on her bodycount.

-The Boyfriend and Girlfriend were there when Senpai and a bunch of Taknmen were killed.

-Luke was there when Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Anakin died. Rey and Finn were also there when Han died. Similarly, Rey was there when Kylo/Ben died. Vader himself killed a bunch of Tusken Raiders, Younglings, some of his own men, etc.

-Hat Kid "killing" the Mafia Boss is touchy, considering he's somewhat still alive after that. However, she did indeed see a lot of characters kill each other to help her, and she saw the Empress kill one of her own men. That's not even counting the paintings she burned with people trapped inside them, or that one Mafia Goon in Queen Vanessa's manor...

-Mystery Inc. were all there when the zombies from Zombie Island passed on and the cat-people died.

-The Mane 6 were there when Sombra died...twice.

-Arle was there when Schezo died in Madou Monogatari twice. She also killed a few enemies herself.

-Not sure if it counts, but Aang found out all his fellow Airbenders were dead, and based on his...passionate reaction, he understood what that meant.

-Mickey Mouse himself could qualify. Even barring the dubious Kairi death mentioned above(I'm not entirely sure if she was dead or just had her Heart broken up), he saw a king die in The Prince and the Pauper, and depending on the player's choices, can witness and even cause some death in Epic Mickey. Same for Oswald in the sequel. Plus, they were both present when the Shadow Blot perished and Oswald saw Ortensia 'die'.

-Meggy was there when Desti and Auri died, plus she, Melony, Mario, and others were present when Ax0l was killed. Saiko also left Francis to die, and SMG4's Mario has a bodycount.
