Day 1

This new volunteer in Ylisse's army is rather odd, he says he's not from this world, and asks me what it's like being in Fire Emblem. I brushed him off, seeing as I had much more important things on my mind, like keeping the other girls from preying on my dear Robin. However, the new recruit, I think he called himself Hudson, wanted to show me his weapon of choice, said it could help me get my mind off Robin.

I had no interest in such a thing, but he showed it anyway, a staff with a red orb on the top. I really didn't see how that was a weapon. If anything, it looks like something a healer would use. Come to think of it, Hudson didn't really look like someone who could put up a fight either. i decided to humor him, if it meant he'd go away sooner, but I noticed something odd about the orb. A small yellow circle formed at the center, then grew, with a blue circle forming inside that circle, then a green one, then a pink one, then red again, and the pattern repeated.

I was quite confused about why this was happening, but I kept watching the pulsing colors, as Hudson spoke. Only, I couldn't quite make out what he was saying. I don't know why, but I was so lost in those beautiful pulsing colors that the world around me just seemed to fade, the noise around me echoing in the distance, his voice included. I stared slackjawed at the orb, but then Hudson's voice sounded a lot more clear, I heard him properly, saying, "See, I'm not a good fighter, by any stretch, but I'm a passionate hypnotist.", and it suddenly made sense. I felt like I should question why he's hypnotizing me, but it felt so wonderful, I couldn't be bothered to object.

He pulled the staff away from my view and I finally snapped back to reality. I...uh...can't quite remember what I was thinking about. Why did I lose focus like that? What was this man talking about? I suppose I was just tired. Hudson told me Robin was lucky to have someone like me, and seeing as the men and women around here often try to win her heart, it's nice to see someone who knows their place. He walked away, and I went back to my tent. I closed my eyes, and I swore I could see something in my dreams. I can't quite remember, but it was...so beautiful...

Day 2

I was...keeping an eye on Robin, when I ran into Hudson again. He said he really enjoyed hypnotizing me yesterday, and I seemed to enjoy it too. I had no idea what he was talking about, asking him when this happened. He held up his staff to me, and this felt vaguely familiar. I noticed a small yellow circle form in the red orb, and then it hit me. I remembered seeing this before. The pulsing colors...the beautiful pulsing colors...

The pattern begain again, and I watched in awe as the colors seemed to consume my surroundings. In a matter of seconds, everything save for myself, Hudson, and his staff disolved into a see of pulsing colors, and I remembered how wonderful this felt. Hudson's voice echoed loud and clear, asking me how it felt to be hypnotized. I just smiled, my arms going limp, as I answered, "Simply magical..."

He decided to have a little fun with this, moving the staff to left, and my eyes followed it. He moved it to the right, and again, I couldn't keep my eyes off it. He moved it right back in front of me, and I found myself facing forward again, a dopey smile on my face. He said he would test hypnotic suggestion next, telling me I would only be able to say Robin's name if he snapped his fingers. He snapped his firo...His firob...Rob...Robin...Robin Robin Robin Robin Robin? Robin! Robin?

He snapped his fingers again, and I was able to talk normally. He said he had a plan for when Grima was defeated, but needed my help. I wasn't so sure about helping him, but then my eyes wandered back to that staff. The orb's pulsing colors made me forget all my doubts, as Hudson told me what he wanted to do. He planned to hypnotize the people of this land, and those beyond, partially to help people, but mostly for his own amusement. It may just be the colors talking, but it actually sounds interesting. I couldn't refuse an offer to join this endeavor, and asked him what I could do.

Day 3

His plan for me was simple, I would hex the three Lords, Chrom, Lucina, and my dearest Robin. The hex is a simple one. I walk up to them and reach out a hand, making a swirling gesture, as magic begins to circle their heads. The three had only nanoseconds to question what was happening before their arms went limp and their faces warped into smiles not unlike my own. I spoke to them in a confident, commanding tone, telling them my Master's plan, "When Grima is slain, you three will fall into a blissful trance, and obey my Master's commands to the letter." The three nodded lazily. When I snapped my fingers, they snapped back to their senses, unaware of their inevitable blissful fate.

It honestly felt quite satisfying seeing them wake up from their trance, completely forgetting the fact that I just hexed them. I chuckled a bit, knowing more about it than they did, especially the feeling of waking up from a trance, ignorantly thinking that's the end of it, but it's not. It's only the beggining. My Master says the three Lords will face Grima soon, and when the Fell Dragon falls, so will they, albiet differently.

I must say, Master's plan has me excited. He said Robin and I could be hypnotized together, and I could use my hypno-hex on other people if I enjoy it so much. He spoke of other lands we could claim like Hoshido and Nohr, how the latter had a lady I might get along with. This is honestly the most elated I've felt for a long time. The blissful feeling of being entranced, the knowledge that Robin will soon be mine at last, and the opportunity to test this hypnotic hex on anyone my Master picks, it's so invigorating...
