12 years after the Prime Minister Honest was assassinated by Night Raid, the Empire has undergone some changes. The once reclusive Emperor has been out and about, and the people in Night Raid are...a bit suspicious to say the least. For reasons unclear, the violent enemies they faced seemed to have been silenced, and eventually, they're tracked down and brought to the authorities, and met with...this.

Tatsumi: "S-Seryu!? Okay what is it!? Guns? Knives? That damned dog?"
Seryu: "Oh, don't be silly. All I have planned for you is a comfy bed and sublime meals!~"
Tatsumi: ".....Can you go back to trying to kill us? It was less creepy than this."

I might have vaguely mentioned the Imperial Arc a few times, but it's got more than the Empire in it. It's got a few stories that sometimes converge, all leading up to the true Kingdom Hearts and the fate of the Multiverse. For example, Team RWBY has story dealing with Salem, but on the way, they're called in to hunt down Night Raid, being the ones who kickstart their story.
