Description
In the vast Mesmeric Multiverse, many stories begin and end in the most unexpected ways, one of them is Kris', a story of a young human with a destiny to seal Dark wells that swell in other worlds, to prevent Darkness from consuming them. Pushed into this role by the strings of fate, Kris resented their lack of a choice, and then fate's strings lead them to Cyber City, a manifestation of the internet. With a fork in the road, Ralsei, the one who put Kris on this pace, lead their friend Susie down one path, leading Kris down the other.

After a run-in with Noelle, Kris had an encounter with the one behind this, the Queen of Cyber City, who had hoped to use the Darkness to spread her influence to other worlds. She was drunk on battery acid and went on about how Kris got her, and Kris really just stood there waiting for her to stop talking. However, they began to wonder, what if they could turn all this around. After the Queen got driven off by Berdly, Kris decided to follow her, leaving Noelle at the city's fair with some...persuasion.

Kris approached the Queen as she soberred up, and began talking with her, offering to help her, but she wasn't too sure about him sealing the Dark well she had in her castle, "Kris I Am Honored But The Well Is My Whole Freaking Plan I Cant Just Let You Throw That In The Bin LOL"
Kris thought of something, a trick they had. They gazed at the Queen, eyes locked on her visor, as their own eyes glimmered like rubies, "There's another way. If you want to make everyone smile, you've already got the tools for that."
The Queen paused a bit, noticing Kris' eyes, "Kris Your Eyes Look Flipping Weird Is That A Thing Humans Can Do?"
Kris kept eye-contact, continuing, "It's a talent of mine. Just focus on my eyes and listen to my words."
The Queen chortled a bit, but had trouble breaking away from Kris' gaze, "Is This One Of Those Kinks People Look Up? I Am Flattered But You Are Not My Type At All"
Kris nearly broke their gaze, but kept their composure, "...No, it's a trick of mine, and I can use it to help you."
"Oh Like A Loyal Peon Correct?"
"Sort of, but since I'm a human, and you're a computer, we can't do much without each other."
The Queen processed this, nodding agreement, making sure to keep focus on Kris' eyes, "Fair Point"
Kris smiled, seeing faint red spirals form in the Queen's black eyes, "So consider this an equal partnership then. You don't need a Dark well, we could just put our heads together and think of something more efficient."
The Queen smiled, red swirls filling her optics, "Sounds Good To Me What Do You Propose?"

At the Queen's castle, after sealing the well and getting settled in, Kris admired their new outfit, a black, white, and blue outfit not too different from the Queen's or Lancers. They wondered how Susie or Ralsei would react if they saw Kris like this, but that didn't quite bother them too much, especially since they had other things to do. The Queen had introduced Kris to one of her top servants, Tasque Manager. A cat-like program with a notable whip, she was in charge of keeping order in the castle. With Kris being the Queen's new programmer, so to speak, that meant they had authority over the castle as well. And Tasque Manager seemed to notice this.

She froze in place, a buffering icon appearing in front of her. Before Kris' eyes, she began recoloring, gaining a heart on her chest to replace her buttons, blue highlights on her shoulders and boots to match, and most notably, faint swirls in her eyes. She finally started moving again, swaying and smiling as usual as she bowed to Kris, "Order order, all servants, the castle is under new management!"
