Bowser - The first one Sora faces is fittingly the famous Koopa King of the Dark Lands. Following the plot of Super Mario 64, Bowser hijacks Peach's castle and traps her in a stained glass window. Team JNR, who were in the castle at the time for... certain reasons, wind up getting brainwashed by Kamek into attacking Sora, Mario, and co. Ultimately, Bowser's defeated and sent flying out of the kingdom.

Calamity Ganon - A monstrous force of hatred that threatens Hyrule, Sora and Link set out to gather the power needed to fight it. Things get difficult though when Chaos Blot decides Hyrule is beyond saving and decides to try and boost Calamity Ganon's power by feeding it the Hearts of the Yiga Clan. In the end though, it doesn't stop Link and Sora from vanquishing the Calamity.

02 - The ruler of the Hyper Zone and mysterious enemy of Kirby and King Dedede who is devoid of positive emotions, 02 sent its minions to plunge the galaxy into Darkness, but Ribbon escaping leads to Kirby and Sora noticing the commotion and setting out to gather the broken Crystal Shards to vanquish the forces of Dark Matter, culminating in the revelation that the queen of Ripple Star has been possessed by 02 itself.

Dr. Eggman - An evil genius who has faced Sonic the Hedgehog numerous times, Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik recruited Shadow the Hedgehog and Rouge the Bat to gather Chaos Emeralds while he ceased the ARK, using its cannon to hold the world ransom. This put him at odds with not just Sonic and friends but Sora as well. However, a hidden project in the ARK puts his plans of world domination on hold.

"My name is Dr. Eggman, the world's greatest scientist, and soon to be the world's greatest ruler! Now, witness the beginning of the greatest empire of all time! Hahahaha!" (Sonic Adventure 2)

Popoi - A cat puppet belonging to Ms. Accord, who has watched her students as they learned magic spells for years, and now as their graduation exam begins, he and Accord invite Sora to assist the students. As Sora meets Amitie, Popoi and his caretaker put their skills to the test from behind the scenes, instigating a battle with Raffina, awakening Sig's inner darkness, and luring the then-possessed Klug into a fight as well, the exam ending with a fight against Popoi himself, revealing to be something far greater than a mere puppet.

The Snatcher - A fallen prince who claims Hearts through contracts, he had forced Hat Kid into signing away her own, making her feel exceedingly empty inside. Incensed, Sora decides to help Hat Kid get it back. After completing a lot of tasks and fighting the corrupted queen of the Subcon Woods, the two confront the Snatcher expecting him to relent Hat Kid's Heart, but he decides to dispose of them both, which bites him in the rear to say the least.

"Wait up, kid. Remember how the old contractor had his head pop off? That wasn't a coincidence. It popped off the moment he stopped being useful to me. And guess who else just became obsolete? That's right. You." (A Hat In Time)

Mono - A young Nobody left behind in a mysterious tower, he calls out to Sora through a television, coaxing the Keyblade Wielder into freeing him from his prison. Maddened by a malicious broadcast latching onto his mind, Mono sought out and kidnapped his former friend Six, making her a puppet to the Signal Tower as well. Sora and some other kids manage to knock the Broadcast out of both of them, with Mono instantly turning over to their side once he's freed. But the tower isn't ready to let them leave just yet...

Demitri Maximoff - A powerful Vampire banished from the realm of Makai ages ago, Demitri has menaced the human world ever since, with his hunger for blood and Souls matched only by his hunger for power over all. Seeing Morrigan Aensland as the one obstacle in his way to being the ruler of Makai. Using the Heartless to draw her out, he had hoped to lure her into his grasp, but both Sora and the Unversed made that harder than he hoped. When they finally do arrive, Sora and Morrigan seek to defeat Demitri and avenge all the humans he feasted on.

Spooky - An adorable ghost girl who invites Sora into her haunted mansion, who seeks to make a terrifying ghost army to take over the world, with Sora as her first soldier. She sics numerous Specimens on him, unaware that many of these Specimens are actually Heartless seeking to devour her Heart. Sora clears out the whole mansion, agravating Spooky as her plans go up in smoke. After one last attempt at killing him herself, she storms off, and after some time, she begins to consider why he did all this...

"Well you made it. Congratulations. I guess. Uh. Well... Oh! So now you must pass one last test to prove your fortitude or dedication or something..." (Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion)

William Afton - A murderer that experimented on peoples Hearts and Souls in his search for immortality, William is the one responsible for Charlotte Emily becoming a creature of Darkness and the other children being bound to metal. Charlotte enlists Sora to free the children's spirits once and for all, and then they turn their attention to what's left of Afton, who, after spending weeks rotting in a springlock suit, had let the cruelty and anger his Heart turn him into a sapient Heartless. Sora and Charlotte were quite happy to send him back to his grave.
