I say why not have her as a sleeper agent for the Aensland Empire; not because of what they (The Internet) say about RWBY, because that would be stupid.

I honestly think it WOULD be interesting. Ruby and the others could eventually find out about Yang helping Morrigan and Lelouch in rounding up the Princesses of Heart and Soul. There might even be some tension when Ruby turns out to be a Princess of Heart, and Yang tries to convince her to go to Makai, insisting she'll be safe there.
