Maid is mostly a domestic servant who cleans the castle, prepares dinner, make sure all the latex clothing is cleaned and such. You know, a maid.
A soldier is basically Dream's weapon, using the soldiers to go and capture more ponies to be turned into slaves.
Maids live a relaxed life but can be punished heavily by Dream if they don't obey well. Soldiers are more respected in Dream's eyes because they keep the country running, basically.Β

Still a tough choice. I guess I'll pick maid since I figure you could turn me into a soldier if the need ever arose. That being said I do have one condition: a proper uniform. Nothing against what Luna's wearing (she's rocking it BTW) but that is in no way a proper maid's uniform, nevermind how much sexier a maid's uniform is.
