Lovely atmosphere right there! It is one of those shots where you feel like smoking a cigarette because it looks beautiful, yet you know it's not good for your health ... at all.

I love how the contrast goes from a lower state to a higher state as the eye moves down the frame. Did you expose for anywhere in particular (I ask because it's been well controlled)?

I think I measured the light like I would have shot it from the other side (lets say I measured the lightest tones of the skin) and theres no need to add some EV. But I tried also to underexpose it (1 EV) to be just silhouette... it was ok, but the "foggy light" disappeared.
HP5 is very dynamic film, so its possible to shoot such a difficult light conditions. You cant do any big mistake in case you can do magic during enlargement (but this is only negative scan).
