“sunset...no...” Twilight whimpered...She tried to struggle, she really did.. but she was tired worn out. All she could do was cry and watch sunset in a mindless bliss slide down the throat of the snake... while she was held tight in the coils of the snake.
The small snake that had swallowed some stones containing equestrian magic and grown into a massive monster. The snake that had done this in front of them when they had slipped away in the night from the others at camp ever free.
No one had heard her cries and the snake, the talking snake seemed to take joy in telling them their fate. Sunset to be eaten at sunset and twilight afterwards as twilight fell across the forest...
He said he might have kept her for breakfast, but was looking forward to meeting the other girls in the morning when they came looking for them.
The snake used some sort of stare on sunset, putting her in a trance. So she didn't resist being eaten. Twilight tried to snap her out of it, by shouting but it didn't work.
She knew she would be next soon...after her friend was gone.
