So after "It Came From Beyond the Stars! " I felt like doing more with this retro sci-fi concept and well from there I sorta went into creative overdrive! I took the two characters I had made for that pic, reworked a few details, and even made one other new character to fill the role Sophie had back there to round out the trio and soon the Galaxy Guard was born! Enjoy!

Overview: Space, a vast ocean filled with unknown wonders and dangers. Man has often dreamed of understanding what's beyond our little ol' planet Earth and find signs of other life out there, what would a world where we already had look like? In this alternate timeline, Humankind had mastered spaceflight in the year 1956 and the world was forever changed by scientific advances that came with it. Soon mankind learned that there was life on other planets, and a number of them were hostile. To combat this new threat to the Earth, all the world's governments, for the first time, became unified and forged a new kind of defense group, one that would act as law enforcement ad defend the planet from alien threats! They were called "The Galaxy Guard"! The year is now 2050, nearly a century since mankind's scientific evolution, and Galaxy Guard officers continue to keep the peace and uphold the laws of the United Earth Government. Three person squads are placed all around the world, each given a number and sent to different outposts, to carry out their duties, so that the world can remain safe from the many beings that would attack or subjugate Earth! One of these squads is the intrepid Squad 10!

Stella Cygnus: The newest recruit to the Galaxy Guard and youngest of Squad 10, Stella was inspired to join the force after her hometown was rescued from aliens by Squad 1. After that day, Stella wanted to be just like her heroes and dreamed of becoming a Galaxy Guard officer herself one day. Despite coming from a poorer and more rural area of Earth, Stella overcame those hurdles through perseverance and was accepted into the Galaxy Guard Academy. After a few years of studying and training, Stella graduated and was became a full fledged officer! Being assigned to Unity City, the very heart of the United Earth, she became Squad 10's newest member! Stella is often optimistic, and tries to see the bright side of everything. Stella likes to explore new places and can be somewhat childish when excited. Despite some naive and occasionally ditsy behavior, she's a hard worker and tries to be the best Galaxy Guard officer she can be, like her heroes of Squad 1, a kind compassionate person that makes others feel safe and saves those in need.

Andromeda Arcturus: The leader of Squad 10 and daughter of Adros Arcturus, Galaxy Guard officer of the famous Squad 1, Andromeda has always had a lot to live up to. The Arcturus family has always been known for being talented, wealthy, and successful and as a child Andromeda was naturally talented at everything she attempted. However it all felt meaningless when she compared herself to her hero of a father. Wanting to follow in his footsteps, Andromeda devoted herself to becoming part of the force when she turned 12. Andromeda got into the academy when she was of age and passed every test with flying colors. Graduating with high marks, Andromeda requested to be one of the many officers operating out of Unity City to be at the world's most populated area. Placed in Squad 10, Andromeda went above and beyond to prove herself on every mission and eventually became the Squad's leader. Andromeda is a natural strategist, always the one to come up with a plan while preferring to look before she leaps, and a bit of an overachiever. Responsible, polite, and knowledgeable, Andromeda works hard to one day be as good of an officer as her father. She takes her duties very seriously and to her there's always something more she could do, which makes her come off as a little too work focused at times. Despite that, Andromeda cares for her squad and just wants to be a good leader to them.

Ceres Vega: Ceres is a kind and considerate member of Squad 10, who has herself a little secret. In reality she is an alien, a Martian to be exact, disguised as a human. As a young Martian, Ceres dreamed of leaving home to experience the wonders of the Universe, especially that of her planet's neighbor, Earth. Martians have kept themselves hidden for decades in fear of other alien species and the laws of Mars prevent a Martian from ever leaving, with the threat of never being allowed to return, but Ceres decided to leave Mars anyway in search of wanting to see new things. Stowing away on a mining ship, Ceres made it to Earth and instantly fell in love with the new scenery. Thanks to her telepathic abilities, Ceres was able to blend in with an illusion that is her human form. Ceres was enjoying herself among the humans, but this fun she was having was interrupted when Unity City was attacked by an alien species called the Terax. Galaxy Guard's Squad 10 was called in, which at the time included new recruit Andromeda and two other members, but they struggled to rescue every citizen while also fighting off the invasion and the Squad suffered one casualty. Despite being on Earth for a short time, Ceres wanted to defend the people in danger, and risked her life to rescue those who were trapped in the chaos. Recognizing her bravery, Victoria Orion the leader of Squad 10 at the time, made Ceres an honorary member of the team and trained her personally, up until she was promoted and passed on her role to Andromeda. Of course since Ceres was an alien, among humans who keep aliens from setting foot on Earth, she reluctantly had to keep her true form hidden from her new friends in order to not cause an uproar. Despite the circumstances, Ceres does enjoy being part of Galaxy Guard and going on missions with her Squadmates. Her Martian physiology gives Ceres the ability to sense certain thoughts and emotions, as well as Telekinesis. if given enough time to try she can read minds on a deeper level, put people into a hypnotized state and create illusions to trick others. Ceres is a serene presence in the group, not easy to anger and usually tries to play peacemaker when there's an argument. She's also got a real sweet tooth and especially loves cookies, and thanks to her Martian biology she can eat a lot of them before it starts to affect her body. Even with her trying to keep her true identity secret, Ceres dreams to one day be accepted for her true self and hates having to deceive her friends.
