Description
Layla's creation was inspired by what you could call the "Jungle" genre of comics. I noticed at some point just how many there were out there, and trust me there's a lot of them both new and old. Tarzan, Sheena, Anthro, Shawna the She-Devil and even Jungle Action comics were all in some way responsible for Layla's design and what fueled my decision to try my hand at making a jungle girl character of my own. Since there are many of these characters that look suspiciously similar, I wanted to make Layla look more unique. This involved her messy bright white hair, red eyes, and signature scar. Layla's first official appearance was "Kaa meets Layla " where I used the same eye technique I tried for a while on her. Layla has had a lot of interesting little outtings ever since, including being possessed by a Snake Goddess, being turned into a genie, becoming a circus attraction, and even getting mind controlled by evil pumpkins! She's a fun character to work with and I hope to do more crazy ideas with this character going forward! Enjoy!Name: Layla
Aliases/Nicknames: Queen of the Forgotten Island, The Island's Protector, and The Jungle's Warrior.
Age: 26
Personality: Fierce, cunning, skilled, compassionate to nature and living creatures, curious, adventurous, brave, and wild.
Likes: Nature, the many creatures of her island, sunny days, the blue of the ocean, the thrill of the hunt, and adventure.
Dislikes: Those who try and harm the island or its creatures, rain, loneliness, feeling helpless, and feeling like an outcast.
Background: Out there in the vast sea there is an island untouched by time and long forgotten by the world! The island is teeming with untamed natural beauty and unique life. Some creatures that live here are ones thought to be long extinct, while others are fantasy come to life! Humans were once a thriving species on this island as well, having their own civilization and culture...but it did not last. After a great catastrophe, only one was known to have escaped with an infant child. The woman, Tora had become a sole survivor and would tell her daughter, Layla, stories of their people as she raised her in the heart of the wild jungle. Unfortunately tragedy struck the two when their camp was attacked by a large tiger, the alpha of its pack. Tora hid the young Layla away, but lost her life fighting off the beast. Alone, Layla was left only with the knowledge her mother passed on to her and a desire to exact revenge on the beast that attacked them. Eventually the young girl would find herself among a pack of Achillobators (they're like larger feathery raptors), they would have eaten her but Layla used what her mother taught her to instead become part of their pack instead. Layla would grow up among the feathery reptiles, learning how to survive, hunt, and become strong. Eventually Layla would leave the pack to hunt down the tiger that killed her mother, along with her came an Achillobator Layla had become close to and he became her most trusted friend, she would call him "Rokku" which in her language meant "Ally". The two eventually tracked the tiger down to its pack and waited for the right opportunity to fight. Layla, using her rage and cunning was able to kill the beast and exact revenge, but this act set off a precedent among the beasts of the island. The creatures of this jungle wound come to see Layla as the alpha predator, the wild jungle's Queen. With her thirst for vengeace gone, Layla came to see herself as the last of her kind and as such felt the responsibility to be the protector of her island while exploring the land and searching for others like her if they even survived. She lives, hunts, and protects the island and its inhabitants from any threat that comes!

just curious, is Layla available to draw? I really love your content with her, and perhaps when I have time in the future I'd like to draw her in some snake hypno peril
