So had the idea to do something with TMNT's April O'Neil. I mean why not, the character has been through many hypno/mind control scenarios in the past, but there are so many versions of this character that I wasn't sure which one to use! Then I realized, why not all of them? So I made every version of April from the cartoons, from the 80's to the new "Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"! For this one I tried recreating that time from the 80's series when Krang and Shredder used a mind control device to turn the news channel into mindless zombies! It's pretty classic, so I recommend checking it out, the episode was called "Super Bebop and Mighty Rocksteady", and the hypno scenes are pretty early on in the episode! That episode was definitely one of my favorites of the 1987 series as well, same with The Showdown since it contained mind control throughout the beginning, though it's a shame it only lasted for a few minutes throughout the beginning in that episode

Agreed. Besides, I think the hypno transmitter, along with the hypnotic screens from The Showdown could have worked out as a main part throughout the whole episode like with Super Bebop and Mighty Rocksteady, it has so much potential for that
