The cover for the fan-comic i'm working on, Yuriko Rising. The comic aims to continue Yuriko's story, which was ended a bit too abruptly in Uprising, and explore her relation to Yuri.I originally considered a more traditional cover, displaying all the characters (LOTR movies style) but i thought a more conceptal concept would be better.
Yuriko, if my sources aren't mistaken, can be translated as "born from a lily". This carries a meaning of purity and innocence which is interestingly in contrast with her personality.

Most fans have interpreted her name as meaning "child of Yuri," though it is an actual Japanese name.

great idea.
In my fanfiction I though that if I would mix Yuri with Yuriko she would be 'genetical daughter of a female Chineese proffesor and Yuri' geneticaly because he wouldn't know she is his daughter. That female profesor would stole hair from his moustache and mix some of his genes with her using technology

My fictional story is about Tanya and Yuri. There is even not a sight of a Yuriko. XD what I told you is my ultimate version of a story which can mix Yuri and Yuriko.

well it's not like they both fell in love in ne moment.
Yuri captured Tanya to get an localization of a new chronosphere project, but also because he was fascinated in Tanya's life (to the RA2 plot when Yuri was a still at soviet side)
He realised he feels weird chemistry between her but of corse it made him more angry and scared.
