Description
When you have such a painting you can easily modify it into a info graphic. In this case I wanted to show you guys the vertical habitat structure over large parts of the silvanian surface. Mundodenralis can be further structured into countless biomes and micro habitats not to mention the valley structure in its middle, but this gives you a first rough idea.

At first I thought this was jellyfish! But it's a tree blob with super long roots!

how wide are they? / how large are the islands they make?

At sea level the roots grow 1 kilometer wide or even more, but usually these organisms don't appear alone, they form living continents

It's amazing, I like it a lot, it must be a very complex thing withing the fragile global ocean ;D

Sea snow...that's so clever.
The whole creature looks beautiful and eerie at the same time.

Indeed, I've always seen that in documentaries too but it must be an interesting experience from up close!

SO cool. I once had a spec bio idea similar to this, when I was a teenager, of a world of immense floating trees. This is a way more realistic design than what I had, of course. It's awesome.

Is this some sort of plant that drifts around in the ocean?

"plant" is the wrong term here, this organism has no connection to earthly plants, but it fills a similar niche. And yes they float on the ocean surface, forming living tectonic plates.

When you see it from the outside it looks like just some monster alien tree, but I guess when you're on it, you wouldn't notice. Just the wooden texture

I don't know yet what texture I would give it...

I would absolutely love to see what sort of life-forms exist on and in this extraordinary life-form

This is amazing, it only solidifies the design and concept more, could easily see this in a book of some sort!
Would many of these beings exist on the world?
I am excited to see more from you in the future, yu have a brilliant mind for biological designs like these!

Maybe sometimes it get to shallow water and ancors there also

Silvanus has no shallow water, the whole planet is covered by a ocean (Xibalba) that is between 8 and 15 kilometers deep.

Ahh. I see. Tho it would still be a cool idea.
You go to a beach and you see several of these things bobing near by

There are beaches, but not made of sand, and these are so large that you wouldn't really notice any bobbing
