Description
Every time I start a new blank flame, the end result is almost always a leaves fractal. I learned that the weights has significance in the appearance of the leaves, so experiment with the weights.Fractal name (for my reference): 070828-61ma3b w-t1 0.45

As usual, request for parameters of fractals is open, and so is - if you want a higher resolution or higher quality, ask and you shall receive. Tweaks welcome, please give me a link to your tweak.
Made in Apophysis 2.06c.

artists are like musicians who compose with lights, colors, and shapes.

Nice... Ive made similar things with the chaos game, but never colored interstingly...

That really is a nice one. It's one of those genres of fractals I have never experimented with. I'd like to know what the parameters are. regards...

Sorry for the long reply delay, dA keeps hitting me with an "unable to send" message.
My leaves are actually quite simple, it's composed of only 2 or 3 linear triangles (in this case, 2). The hard part is trying to find the perfect position in the sea of chaos.
I make my leaves through trial and error from a new blank flame - I keep editing the positions of the triangles until I see something, then I refine it. It requires patience and some luck, sometimes you can make one in 10 minutes, sometimes it takes 1 hour, though I feel that if anything doesn't turn out within 30 minutes it's best to restart with a new blank flame.
The triangles' variation are only linear, though you can add some other variation if you want. Play around with the weights and colors; sometimes a leaf doesn't look like a leaf until you change the weights.

Thanks, I have the same problems with dA so I understand. Thanks for the link too. I'll give it a try based on those par files. Have you tried the new 3D Apo hack? It's a new challenge for sure. Get it from the Apo Club Resources page. It will get your brain going! regards...

Beautiful, I always liked your leaves fractals, though I think for this one there's a lot of empty space on the right, maybe a simple black pattern might jazz it up a bit?
