I'm not a poet...shut up!
Anyways, I wanted to draw a dude for once. And since I've been listening to some D&D sessions. I decided to make a tiefling bard in a bit of a predicament.

There are worse situations to be in as a bard, but this ranks fairly high. At least the dragon doesn't fancy itself a critic!

I haven't ever played D&D. So I have no idea what is a bad situation and not. But I would assume that it's not easy to solo a dragon.

Teifling: Uh - w-well, uh, he... was the manager, yeah! He was.
Dragon: Oh. I see. My apologies. I shouldn't have shouted.
Tiefling: I-it's okay... uh, I can just go-
Dragon: Of course! But first, um, hey. I hate to ask this one small favour, but...
Tiefling: Um... s-sure, what?
Dragon: The Manager, um... would you mind getting him for me?
Tiefling: Uh - but, I don't think he--
Dragon: *NOM NOM NOM*

Mayhaps:

...or something the like. balancing out the second and fourth lines makes it flow better, imho. Regardless of poetic merit, it would seem that the former party's frontline fighters weren't as hardy as they thought they were.
