The stalwart, slimy inhabitants of the tumultuous swamp planet Munrila are renowned in the Consolidate for their almost innate technical aptitude. The harsh conditions of their homeworld forced the Munrilans to constantly innovate, improve and refine their technologies in order to survive. This, combined with Munrila's abundant geothermal energy and frequent mineral-rich asteroid strikes, allowed the Munrilans to advance very rapidly as a species. They were one of the first Consolidate races to achieve long-distance space travel, having developed Punch Drives of their very own well before the Nuvak started braving the stars. Their gravity-manipulation technology, in particular, has remained the pinnacle of their achievement for thousands of years, becoming the keystone of many powerful Consolidate devices.

Though their dominant neo-cortexes make the Munrilans very pragmatic and analytical as a species, they do not have the cold, emotionless demeanor of the Nuvak. Most Munrilans are affable in nature, always eager to solve problems and improve things in any way that they can. With a single Munrilan female capable of laying up to a dozen eggs at once, Munrilans often live in extremely large extended families they call Spawns. A Munrilan is fiercely loyal to their Spawn, and will always come to the aid of their brothers and sisters in times of crisis. This loyalty, however, can extend to anyone they respect enough, usually with no regard to race or status. Munrilans see people for what they do and make, first and foremost. They always repay a debt, they always lend a hand, and they always find a solution.
