Description
Hello!...Here is one of my favorites...made with Cold Porcelain...to resemble the original version of Strawberry Shortcake...she is almost 5" tall & again, one 1.5" styrofoam ball for the body & one for the head. The red dress came out darker than expected...but still looks ok...Hope you like her..DD

it usually takes me about a week+ to do a nice one like that...I have to wait for the pieces to dry enough to continue working...

I'm so envious of you. You're new here but you already have a DD! Congrats!
but it's a good envy, so don't fret
but
I love the way this looks.
When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought, "What's the big deal? It's a picture of a doll that she didn't even create."
BUT.
After looking at the larger image, I realize that it was clay. Not just a photo.
So then my irritability became love.

ahh I loved her when I was little... One thing I totally detest is the "modern" version of Strawberry Shortcake.. It's terrible! And I'm glad you chose to honor her with the real deal. Great work!!

That's so adorable!! I used to watch Strawberry Shortcake when I was little, it was my favorite cartoon... I just hate the new version
Cold porcelain is such a great clay. I've used it many times, and the possibilities with it are just limitless.
For those of you who want the formula, I've just put it in my journal, so be welcomed to check it out

Uhm... I'm now understnading that this is PRRROOOOBABLY not the same Strawberry Shortcake that I'm tinking of, but on the cartoon show Drawn Together there was a murderous Nazi-like girl that looked something like that and went by the same name... I'm serious.
