A custom xbox controller with an MLG theme made for a friend of mine
Well, this is something different hey! I've never done any custom work before besides my sunglasses and that was hand painted, this was with spraypaint, I was nervous to say the least lol!
It was a pain in the arse to do, 'cause you've got to wait 24 hours between each colour to be able to mask it off! :facepalm
But I'm really pleased with how it came out and so is he, which is a good thing as he's a very fussy boy

Anyway in case anyone cares, here's how I did it...
Sanded it with wire wool until the shine comes off.
Washed it in some dish soap and warm water.
Rubbed it down with surgical spirit (rubbing alcohol) whilst wearing rubber gloves as not to get any more grease or dirt on it.
And then applied the first colour, White plastic primer, 3-4 coats.
After 24 hours I cut out and stuck down my controller mask made out of frog tape (high tack masking tape, the cream masking tape just wont do as it leaks a hell of a lot)
and then covered the left side of the controller and then sprayed on the red, as it's car paint it didnt need more than 2 coats.
then after 24 hours removed the left side of the masked off area, careful not to peel off the controller mask in the center, and then covered the red part.
Then cut out the MLG, and then sprayed on the blue.
wait 24 hours and then clearcoat! I did 3 coats.
