Frankly, yes, so people don't steal it or decide to post it places I don't want it to be.
It's a personal preference and I'm sorry if it upsets you.
If you don't like it, then I'm sure there are plenty of other artists who've made similar art that you could look at instead.
When the person commissioned this they knew full well it would have a watermark, as do all my other works, so I hope you can respect that.
