These are my Illustrations for the 100 list this is 1-12 but missing one (because im too lazy to revise it at the moment), Breath Again. All of these illustrations were done with microns/ sharpies and Col-Erase pencils. All of these illustrations have titles derived from the word, they help explain the picture a little more. Some of these are the original rough sketch ideas and others are slightly more finalized.-------------------------------------------------------
-INTRODUCTION: An Unsettling Introduction
-LIGHT: Alien Light (this one was added really crappy light via photshop.)
-LOVE: The Burning Love (Im aware the women looks slighlty... not like a woman.)
-DARK: Bringer of the Dark
-SEEKING SOLACE: Seeking Solace from a Tin Roof (shanty towns are sad)
-HEAVEN: The Doorway to Heaven
-INNOCENCE: Innocence in a Carnivore (that would be a hyena pup)
-BREAK AWAY: Break Away From the Couch (inspired by Dyun)
-DRIVE: Drive (me with a mohawk, in my fetal drawing position)
-MEMORY: The Memory Machine (my personal fav.)
-INSANITY: Consumed By Insanity (look at that crazy bad anatomy)

i dig the one for insanity, there's something about that akward pose that just screams that word, what with the hands to the head and the clear discomfort the figures in. the angular nature of the drawing especially helps to bring that out.
dark is alos prettyu niffty. the sheer differnece in size between the beastie and the house makes the figure incredbly forboding as it looms over the tiny shack.
it's reallyawsome to see all the different moods and what not you can create usinc what i would have thought was a slightly cumbersom medium. the black on white acctually creates a highly styilized look, especially when you have a number of images approched in the same fashion together like this. i really hope you finish this series since it's always facination to see induvidual's takes on these set of words.

We'll see about that ^__^; considering im doing character designs right now for class and all. All my energys going there. I think the only reason why I use the sharpie well is cause i play around with shape a lot and silhouettes. :/
